One of our companies is currently looking for a Senior Engineer: C++ in United States.

As a Senior Engineer on the Platform Services team, you will focus on optimizing and scaling one of the most critical components of the system — the ingestion platform. Your role will involve enhancing performance, adding new features, and ensuring the platform can handle even larger amounts of data at greater speeds. Collaborating closely with the Chief Architect, you'll help drive the platform's growth while addressing the evolving needs of the product. The fast-paced environment requires a creative problem solver who embraces innovation and values constant learning.

Accountabilities:

• Enhance the ingestion system to support growing data volumes and improve overall performance.
• Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to ensure the platform is aligned with future growth needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the ingestion system, ensuring smooth functionality.
• Contribute to the development of additional platform services to improve the Quantum Metric experience.
• Work with modern technologies and frameworks to ensure the system is scalable and efficient.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience with C++.
• Expertise in high throughput data systems, including ingestion and processing of large volumes of data.
• Strong database knowledge, with experience in BigQuery or similar systems.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services.
• Experience working with message queues (e.g., Kafka, Pulsar) is a plus.
• Proficiency with Golang is beneficial, though not required.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) products is a bonus.
