One of our companies is currently looking for a Java Full Stack Engineer in Philippines.

As a Java Full Stack Engineer, you will contribute to the development and delivery of key features, solving medium-complexity technical challenges while maintaining coding best practices. You will be involved in both frontend and backend development, as well as DevOps tasks. Your role will also include mentoring junior developers, offering guidance to help them grow professionally. In this collaborative environment, you’ll adapt to new technologies and actively contribute to project success while working closely with team members, scrum masters, and project owners.

Accountabilities:

  • Contribute to team projects, delivering impactful features that align with organizational goals.
  • Independently solve medium-complexity technical problems, and address complex challenges with guidance.
  • Work across the full-stack development spectrum, including frontend, backend, and DevOps responsibilities.
  • Adhere to the team's established coding standards and practices, ensuring code quality and consistency.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, scrum masters, and project owners to ensure alignment and project success.
  • Apply Agile methodologies throughout the development process, maintaining discipline and efficiency.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in software development, covering frontend, backend, and optionally DevOps, with proficiency in Java and frameworks like Spring or Spring Boot.
  • Strong knowledge of Java and additional languages such as C++, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with frontend frameworks like React and experience with legacy systems, including Struts.
  • Proficient in CI/CD principles, Docker, Git, and software practices like unit testing and TDD.
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and a strong ability to collaborate in a team setting.
