One of our companies is currently looking for an Accounting Manager in Colombia.
As an Accounting Manager, you will oversee a team of 20+ accounting professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality property management accounting services. Your role will involve leveraging Lean Six Sigma methodologies to streamline operations and enhance team performance. You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financials, managing P&L, and utilizing data analytics to continuously improve service quality and customer satisfaction. Your leadership will foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellence, ensuring the team delivers timely and accurate results for property managers and real estate developers.
Accountabilities:
- Lead and manage a team of 20+ accounting professionals, fostering a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative environment.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma principles to optimize team processes, enhance operational efficiency, and drive continuous improvement.
- Utilize data analytics to monitor and manage team performance, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and quality in all services delivered.
- Take ownership of the team’s P&L, implementing strategies to optimize resources, reduce costs, and increase profitability.
- Develop strong customer relationships, ensuring the highest standards of service and implementing feedback to improve service delivery.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including payables, receivables, and financial reporting for clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience managing a team of 20+ individuals in a fast-paced environment.
- At least 4 years of experience managing 10+ client accounts simultaneously.
- Strong financial acumen, including experience with P&L management and financial statement preparation.
- Certification or demonstrated experience in Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proven experience using data analytics to improve team performance and service delivery.
- Excellent communication skills, with advanced English proficiency.
- Extensive experience in accounting management, with a strong track record in team leadership and performance coaching.
