One of our companies is currently looking for a PLM Systems Administrator (R3344) in the United States.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the production, development, and test environments of advanced Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, specifically for CAD tools such as Siemens Teamcenter, NX, and Dassault Systèmes Solidworks. The PLM Systems Administrator will ensure the seamless operation and continuous improvement of the PLM infrastructure, supporting teams across multiple locations in the U.S. and internationally. You will also support and maintain both private and public cloud environments while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and reliability.

Accountabilities:

  • Administer and support Siemens Teamcenter, NX, and Solidworks CAD systems, ensuring their functionality across production, development, and test environments.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain the PLM production environment, focusing on system performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Implement and manage PLM test environments to enhance efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Provide user support, training, and troubleshooting for CAD engineering users, addressing issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PLM systems with ERP, MES, and other data systems.
  • Stay updated on the latest PLM technologies and work with vendors to integrate new features and capabilities.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience managing and supporting engineering systems, particularly PLM, CAD, and CAE, with expertise in Siemens and Dassault Systèmes.
  • 4+ years of experience administering Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Proficiency with VMWare, Azure, or other public cloud environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot both user and infrastructure-related issues.
  • A B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
