Job Purpose:
The Solution Engineer is responsible for supporting and deploying the Kronos Workforce Management (WFM) application across our Stores Engineering team. This role involves significant collaboration with Back of Stores Product ART and the IT Shared Services teams, focusing on non-production support and live deployment activities.

Requirements

• Provide operational support and code deployment for Kronos WFM, ensuring consistent IT service delivery.
• Develop strong relationships within the organization to support development and deployment activities.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Kronos WFM, supporting both Helpdesk and Level 2 teams.
• Manage off-hour shifts for deployment activities, ensuring systems are correctly deployed and functional.
• Utilize diagnostic tools like Splunk for monitoring and troubleshooting, addressing software issues during outages to recover critical technology components.
• Plan and execute problem resolution procedures to restore system functionalities.
• Maintain high-level understanding of client platform technologies including Oracle products, Exadata Cloud, and various virtual machine environments.
• Document new issues and standard operating procedures for support teams.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors to ensure system stability and manage software upgrades.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Kronos WFM product implementation.
• Proficient in Oracle Exadata Cloud Service with at least 3 years of experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in enterprise software development with Java.
• Solid understanding of Oracle Database (12c/19c/21c) and Java software design/development.
• 3+ years of experience with Jboss/Oracle Weblogic server.
• Proven ability in upgrades and patches of Kronos WFM, including planning, testing, and execution.
• Excellent communication skills capable of conveying technical information to diverse audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical abilities, and attention to detail.
