Role Overview:
As the Tech Lead with an AI Focus, you will take ownership of all AI-related projects at Servant.io, from research and development to deployment and scaling. You will be responsible for hiring and leading a team of AI engineers, ensuring best practices in AI/ML model development, and integrating AI solutions into our product ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- AI Leadership & Strategy
- Define and drive Servant’s AI strategy and roadmap.
- Identify and implement AI-driven solutions across various products and services.
- Stay up to date with industry advancements and emerging AI technologies.
- Technical Execution
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML models.
- Ensure scalability, security, and performance of AI-powered applications.
- Oversee data pipeline architecture, model training, and optimization.
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate AI into existing systems.
- Team Building & Leadership
- Hire, mentor, and manage a team of AI engineers and data scientists.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Provide technical guidance and ensure best practices in AI/ML development.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and Engineering.
- Work closely with leadership to align AI initiatives with business goals.
- Communicate complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, AI, or machine learning.
- Strong expertise in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++ for AI/ML development.
- Experience with cloud-based AI/ML services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Proven ability to build and lead technical teams.
- Strong understanding of data pipelines, MLOps, and AI ethics.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in mission-driven or faith-based technology organizations.
- Background in computer vision, NLP, or generative AI.
- Experience integrating AI with web, mobile, and gaming applications.
