Project Manager - Hybrid working in Malaga

YanTech Associates have partnered with a leading technical consultancy in Spain who are searching for an experienced Project Manager/Proxy Product Owner with a strong background in banking Back Office projects, particularly in Accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a squad of 18, managing requirements and facilitating Agile development.
  • Participate in defining the bank's multi-year investment strategy for the Receivables product.
  • Propose technological and operational solutions, estimating project costs and identifying necessary resources.
  • Ensure effective communication with stakeholders across Operations, Business, and Technology.
  • Oversee the operational and technological transformation of the product, ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of project management experience.
  • Proven experience with internal bank teams (IG, ACO, Accounting, Back Office, Reporting).
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Strong documentation and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with Back Office systems (LoanIQ preferred) and Supply Chain Finance products is a plus.
  • Knowledge of financial concepts, credit risks, payment methods, and accounting will be advantageous.
