Job Description
We are seeking a high energy, detail-oriented and hands-on individual to join the accounting team as a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in driving the integrity and accuracy of our financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and supporting strategic decision-making. This position requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.

You will:
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including the preparation and posting of journal entries and accruals and supporting reconciliations. Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.Assist with system ERP improvements and maintenance to become an expert in the ERP system assisting and training othersSupport the audit process, working closely with external auditors.Assist in the implementation of effective accounting controls and business processes. Including research and implementation of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the accounting function. Implement best practices to streamline workflows, reduce errors, and improve efficiency.Mentor, teach and review the work of other supporting members of the accounting teamOther responsibilities include but are not limited to participate in special projects, system enhancements or ad hoc analyses as assigned.You have:
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the ability to interpret and apply them in financial reporting. Experience with leading accounting software platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics). Ability to optimize and troubleshoot accounting systems to ensure smooth operations. Strong knowledge of designing and implementing internal controls related to financial processes, including segregation of duties, audit trails, and controls around financial reporting.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA (Certified Public Accountant) preferred. 4+ years accounting/finance month end close or general ledger experiencePrior Audit Experience. Big 4 a plus, but not necessaryExperience with ERP systems (Oracle/SAP/Netsuite) experience preferredExperience with bill.com or similar billing/invoicing softwareStrong excel and/or google sheets skills, be comfortable with extremely large volumes of dataProven ability to succeed in a fast paced and constantly changing environment a plus
