General Counsel

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated General Counsel to oversee the legal affairs of our international venture-building group and its subsidiaries worldwide. The ideal candidate will provide strategic legal guidance, ensure compliance with global regulations, and support corporate governance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all legal matters across the group and its subsidiaries worldwide.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements for day-to-day business operations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including with a strong focus on HIPAA, GDPR, OIG, and AKS regulations.
• Oversee corporate governance matters and maintain best practices across the organization.
• Provide legal risk assessments and strategic advice to executive leadership.
• Collaborate with external counsel as needed for specialized legal matters.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with 7+ years of experience in a top-tier law firm or a large international corporation.
• Fluent in English with excellent legal drafting and negotiation skills.
• Expertise in HIPAA, GDPR, OIG (Office of Inspector General), and AKS (Anti-Kickback Statute) compliance - advantage.
• Previous experience with FDA regulations is a strong advantage.
• Experience working with startups, venture capital firms, or similar fast-paced environments.
• Strong understanding of corporate governance and regulatory frameworks.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment.
• Comfortable working remotely with international teams.
