One of our companies is currently looking for a Curriculum Development Manager in Spain.
As a Curriculum Development Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and designing innovative educational programs that blend academic rigor with local culture and context. You will work closely with a team of curriculum designers to create engaging, adaptable, and place-based learning experiences across all age groups and locations. Your leadership will ensure that our curriculum remains dynamic, high-quality, and aligned with the educational goals, while maintaining a focus on cultural immersion and student growth.
Accountabilities:
- Lead the creation, review, and improvement of curriculum for multiple educational stages across all locations.
- Design and implement summer programs that align with the company’s educational philosophy and meet the specific needs of students.
- Develop and integrate place-based learning elements reflecting the local cultures, environments, and resources of each location.
- Manage the alignment of assessment practices with educational goals, ensuring measurable outcomes and student progression.
- Oversee relationships with third-party academic providers to ensure smooth integration and ongoing development.
- Lead training programs for education staff, ensuring high-quality implementation across all locations and maintaining professional development standards.
- Mentor and manage a team of curriculum designers, establishing clear goals and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Engage with families to gather feedback, ensuring curriculum evolution in response to their needs.
Requirements
- Over 10 years of experience in education management, with a focus on curriculum development and place-based education.
- Strong experience scaling educational programs in global, multi-location environments.
- Proven leadership skills, with experience in mentoring diverse teams and fostering a collaborative culture.
- Expertise in integrating local culture and context into educational programs.
- Data-driven approach to tracking progress, measuring student outcomes, and optimizing processes.
- Strong communication skills, capable of collaborating cross-functionally and managing relationships with academic providers.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, and a passion for innovative, impactful learning solutions.
