The 1Password Partner Team is dedicated to enabling our partner ecosystem to maximize the value of their investments in security and privacy by fostering long-term, strategic relationships and acting as trusted advisors. Partners are pivotal to 1Password’s growth strategy, and the Senior Channel Account Manager - Distribution  plays a critical role in driving that growth.

Reporting to the Director Global Distribution Manager,  this role focuses on building and scaling relationships with distribution partners to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence across key geographies.

This is a strategic leadership role requiring expertise in program development, relationship management, and operational execution to deliver scalable, revenue-generating partnerships.

This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.


What we're looking for:
  • Experience:
  • 5–7 years in partnerships, sales, or business development, with 2+ years managing AMS  distribution teams.
  • Proven success in driving comprehensive AMS  distribution strategies to achieve revenue targets and market growth.

  • Technical Expertise:
  • Experience in SaaS (cloud-native, technical infrastructure preferred) with a focus on recurring revenue business models.

  • Leadership & Strategy:
  • Demonstrated ability to scale operations in high-growth environments.
  • Strong background in operational rigor, including process improvement, sales enablement, and strategy execution.

  • What you can expect:
  • AMS  Distribution Strategy Development:
  • Design and implement the AMS distribution strategy to achieve revenue and market expansion objectives.
  • Develop short- and long-term market strategies and forecasts, aligning with business goals.

  • Revenue Growth & Partner Management:
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key distribution partners, ensuring mutual growth and success.
  • Recruit, develop, and manage partnerships with top industry distributors and resellers.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on partner performance, implementing improvement strategies to maximize sales and profitability.

  • Enablement & Collaboration:
  • Lead training and enablement initiatives to ensure partners can effectively represent, support, and implement 1Password’s solutions.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product, finance, operations) to align strategies and provide the necessary resources for partner success.

  • Operational Excellence:
  • Drive implementation of systems, programs, and tools to support efficient operations and enable partner growth.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to improve sales strategy, operational processes, and partner productivity.

  • Market Analysis & Feedback:
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Provide actionable feedback on partner and market needs to inform product and solution enhancements.

  • Team Leadership:
  • Recruit, inspire, and lead a high-performing distribution team.
  • Mentor and motivate team members to excel in driving sell-through and sell-with strategies.
