Shopify Developer (Frontend & UI Specialist)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Shopify Developer with advanced frontend development expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HTML/CSS, JavaScript, complex frontend UI, and various frameworks, along with proficiency in Shopify’s Liquid templating language. This role requires a developer who can build high-quality, visually engaging, and fully functional e-commerce solutions while ensuring optimal browser performance and user experience.


Responsibilities

• Strong proficiency in Shopify’s Liquid templating language
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3 (advanced level), and JavaScript (advanced level)
• Hands-on experience with frontend UI and interactive elements
• Experience with React is highly desired
• Deep understanding of browser manipulations and optimizations
• Ability to translate FIGMA designs into high-quality, fully functional Shopify pages
• Solid experience with Shopify APIs, third-party integrations, and Shopify Plus is preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Implement complex frontend UI to enhance user interactions and engagement
• Utilize advanced JavaScript for dynamic content, event handling, and browser manipulations
• Work frontend frameworks to create highly interactive and responsive designs
• Optimize website performance, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
• Convert Figma designs into pixel-perfect Shopify storefronts with a focus on performance and usability
• Ensure best practices in frontend UI development, including animations and transitions
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and marketing teams to implement high-quality UI/UX solutions
