For one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Structure, remotely from United States; Canada.

As a Senior Software Engineer, Structure, you will play a pivotal role in the development and enhancement of Webflow’s core platform, focusing on how data is rendered and modeled on the web. You'll collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to build new features, ensure scalable performance, and solve complex technical challenges. Your work will directly impact millions of users as you help shape the future of visual web development. Your contributions will enable teams to deliver exceptional website-building experiences through powerful features and robust frameworks.

Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with designers, PMs, and engineers to plan and build features that support visual development goals.
  • Develop, document, and test production code, ensuring the seamless performance of new features for Webflow’s customers.
  • Address and resolve technical challenges, debugging production issues across multiple services and layers of the stack.
  • Take ownership of projects, ensuring they are completed on time and meet both technical and business requirements.
  • Contribute to technical design, implementation, and the overall success of the team in delivering high-quality software.
  • Engage in agile practices, ensuring iterative progress and consistent feedback throughout project cycles.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience developing web frameworks and shipping products with a focus on building software platforms.
  • In-depth understanding of the web platform and a passion for visual development.
  • Strong familiarity with Node.js, React, TypeScript, GraphQL, AWS Lambdas, and server-side rendering of complex React applications at scale.
  • Ability to debug and solve complex technical issues in a multi-layered stack.
  • Proven experience working in a distributed, collaborative environment with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and communicating technical trade-offs throughout the lifecycle of a project.
