Systems Integration Engineer

About the team:
The Systems Integration Engineers team within Trustly has the purpose of providing technical support to Merchants, covering those in the integration phase to those already in Production. This support is given through the analysis of cases coming from traders or from internal teams, escalating to other times when necessary. Not just limited to case support, the team also supports debugging support with Merchant and technical support in-house. Together with the entire Merchant Services team, it is a communication interface between merchants and Trustly's internal teams.


What you will do:
  • Be a point of escalation for the Merchant Services team on internal technology and third party processing partner issues.
  • Work with Dev/Product Support to resolve escalated issues from the Operations and Integrations teams.
  • Be a liaison between Dev/Product and Merchant Services teams.
  • Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in existing and new Trustly technology for all Trustly teams.
  • Share Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge on multiple channels: a ticketing system, public forums, online chat, social networks, client calls, and more.
  • Work on Account Configuration and Operational tasks to support the Integrations team.
  • Be part of a 24/7 service in support of the Merchant Services team.
  • Create and maintain documentation.

  • Who you are:
  • Excellent English skills (written and verbal).
  • The candidate must be able to develop simple solutions using Java or C#, JavaScript, HTML and database queries.
  • The candidate must know how to do RESTful API calls.
  • The candidate must be able to debug and investigate issues raised by merchants and Trustly's teams.
  • The candidate must be able to quality assure the new features delivered provided by Product will suffice Merchant's needs.
  • Knowledge of other Trustly adopted technologies: AWS Cloud Computing, Salesforce Service Cloud and Database queries.

  • Plus, ideally:
  • Previous knowledge of mobile platforms;
  • Previous experience in cloud software development;
  • Previous knowledge of payments services;
