Role Overview 

We are looking for a Digital Fashion Designer to join our creative team and contribute to the development of virtual fashion for Avakin Life. You will design trend-led, high-quality fashion assets, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that clothing, accessories, and event outfits align with player expectations and drive in-app purchases (IAP). Working alongside 3D artists and experience designers, you will help bring immersive fashion experiences to life in the metaverse. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Fashion Design: Create innovative, on-trend virtual clothing, accessories, and footwear that resonate with our player base. 

• Collaboration: Work closely with character artists, 3D modellers, and experience designers to ensure that fashion items integrate seamlessly into the game. 

• Trend Awareness: Research and apply real-world fashion trends to virtual designs, ensuring that the collection remains fresh, relevant, and appealing. 

• 3D & 2D Development: Develop 2D sketches and 3D mock-ups using software such as Marvelous Designer, Clo3D, Blender, Maya, ZBrush, and Substance Painter. 

• Event Fashion Integration: Support the development of fashion collections for in-game events, ensuring that designs align with event themes and immersive experiences. 

• Player-Centric Approach: Understand player preferences and feedback to refine and enhance virtual fashion offerings. 

• Quality Assurance: Ensure all designs maintain high visual and technical standards, optimised for mobile performance. 

• Marketing Support: Assist in creating fashion marketing materials, including promotional imagery and social media content, to showcase new collections. 

Requirements

• Experience: 1+ years of experience in fashion design, with a strong interest in digital and virtual fashion. 

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Marvelous Designer, Clo3D, Blender, Maya, ZBrush, and Substance Painter. 

• Creativity & Adaptability: Ability to translate real-world fashion trends into compelling virtual designs. 

• Collaboration & Communication: Strong team player, comfortable working with cross-functional teams. 

• Passion for Digital Fashion & Gaming: Enthusiasm for virtual fashion, gaming, and metaverse trends. 

Desirable Skills 

• Knowledge of PBR texturing and garment construction. 

• Experience in digital fashion marketing, social media, or influencer collaborations. 

• Familiarity with AI-driven design tools for fashion generation.
