Job Description

Basic Function
The Project Manager at Lumin Digital is responsible for implementing Lumin Digital’s online banking platform for financial institutions. This role involves managing complex, multi-phase projects, consulting with clients to understand their needs, and coordinating with other project managers, vendors, and partners to ensure successful delivery. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment and is committed to continuous learning, process improvement, and delivering enterprise-scale solutions for external customers.

Essential Functions and  Responsibilities:
Facilitate deliveries of Lumin Digital’s online banking platform and ancillary products and services.
Create and manage multi-phase project schedules with various degrees of complexity.
Consult with clients to understand requests and turn these requests into actionable items.
Coordinate with other project managers, partners, and vendors to facilitate the implementation of their products and services.
Educate stakeholders on issues, risks, and remediation plans.
Assemble and lead status meetings for key stakeholders.
Perform other duties as assigned

Position Specifications

Education
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience:
Four (4) years of project management experience, preferably in financial technology or enterprise software implementation 
Experience leading large-scale implementations for financial institutions
Experience working in the Information Technology and/or Financial Technology industry
Proficiency with project planning and project management tools such as Gantt charts and Kanban boards.
Experience leading enterprise-scale implementations
Demonstrated ability to develop detailed work plans, schedules, and status reports

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to facilitate clear and effective interactions with internal and external stakeholders
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to identify challenges and implement prompt, effective solutions
Commitment to understanding and addressing client needs, ensuring high levels of satisfaction throughout project lifecycles
Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining focus on timely and successful delivery
Leadership skills to motivate team members and drive the achievement of project goals

Travel: 
Minimal, generally 12 days or less per year, ~2X team get togethers a year

30 Days: Gain familiarity with Lumin Digital’s project management processes, tools, and team dynamics. Begin managing smaller projects and assisting with larger ones.
90 Days: Take ownership of complex multi-phase projects, driving client satisfaction and ensuring successful project delivery.
1 Year: Lead strategic implementations for key clients, contributing to the continuous improvement of Lumin Digital’s project management practices.
