Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer (with React)

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer to join our team on a payment platform for pharmacies. This role involves developing and enhancing a platform that handles complex business logic, integrates with external systems, and provides critical services to clients.

Requirements

• 5+ years of total backend development experience.
• Extensive experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Expertise in relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
• Strong understanding of backend development concepts, architectural patterns, and HTTP protocols.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Experience with React is a must.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend systems using Ruby on Rails.
• Implement and optimize database solutions (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Address architectural and performance issues.
• Ensure adherence to HTTP protocol standards.
• Integrate with and utilize cloud technologies (AWS preferred).
• Collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
• Contribute to technical discussions and provide clear communication.
• Work with React for frontend integration.
