The role is part of our Finance Systems Engineering team who will be accountable for the operational support of finance environments (Elite 3E), deployment support for new features and updates, management of global integrations, and keeping the environments current including patches and updates.

This is 12-month contract position.

Requirements

Role

This position requires deep expertise with Elite 3E, SQL, web services, and integration platforms such as IntApp Integrate and Azure Data Factory. The Global Integrations Engineer (Finance) will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), ensuring that firmwide financial systems integrations remain secure high-performing, scalable, and aligned with business needs. The role demands a solutions-oriented and proactive approach to problem-solving, a focus on continuous optimization, and an absolute commitment to achieving Service Excellence.

Key Accountabilities

·       Firmwide Integration Accountability: Maintain accountability for any integrations moving data between supported Elite 3E environments and other Firmwide systems and services (i.e. SAP SuccessFactors, IntApp Open & Conflicts, Elite Data Insights, others).

·       Subject Matter Expertise: Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Elite 3E integrations, delivering guidance and advice to other stakeholders both within GBT and local VMA teams.

·       Technical Leadership: Lead technical efforts and innovate with a focus on integration availability, optimization, security, and delivering robust support.

·       ITSM Processes: Ensure strict adherence to ITSM business processes, including incident management, major incident management, problem management, and change management.

·       Operational Procedures: Develop and implement technical processes and procedures to enable integrations monitoring, updates, optimization, to ensure effective operations.

·       Collaboration Across Teams: Collaborate with GBT and local VMA teams to ensure the effective support and maintenance of the finance integrations.

·       Support-Centric Focus: Maintain a focus on delivering Service Excellence, by ensuring systems and services meet business-critical needs and user experience expectations.

Plan

·       Finance Integrations Roadmap Development: Contribute to create and maintain comprehensive roadmaps supporting the integration of finance environments with Firmwide systems to meet VMA and firmwide requirements.

·       Consolidated Roadmaps: Work closely with the Global Data Services and Global Platform Engineering teams to consolidate roadmaps across related technologies.

·       Resource and Capacity Planning: Collaborate with other GBT teams to define resource requirements, plan capacity needs, and prioritize work based on business-critical objectives and local VMA priorities.

·       Disaster Recovery Planning: Contribute to disaster recovery (DR) plans and ensure finance environments are integrated into the overall business continuity and disaster recovery strategies.

Build

·       Provisioning and Maintenance: Apply best practices for provisioning, maintaining, updating, and decommissioning finance integrations to meet the expectations of local VMAs, and in alignment with GBT standards.

·       Vendor Coordination: Manage and oversee technical activities involving partners such as Elite and Microsoft for new deployments, ensuring alignment with service delivery goals and expectations.

·       Architecture and Budget Alignment: Ensure all new integrations remain within budget and are thoroughly documented and tested.

·       Hands-On Involvement: Take an active, hands-on role delivering on tasks and projects to ensure accountability and success.

Run

·       Change Management: Actively participate in global change management processes to maintain the stability and integrity of the supported finance integrations.

·       Operations Support: Collaborate with the Global Operations team to monitor, patch, and administer the finance integrations while planning for capacity needs.

·       Integration Updates: Manage and deliver integration upgrades and updates for the supported integrations, working in partnership with other GBT teams and local VMA teams.

·       Security Collaboration: Support Global Security Operations teams by enabling effective monitoring tools and responding to security incidents promptly and efficiently.

·       Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish robust monitoring practices to measure finance integrations performance and provide regular reporting to key stakeholders.

·       Proactive Problem Management: Identify recurring issues and implement preventative solutions to reduce downtime and improve overall reliability of finance integrations.

 

Skills and Competencies

A Global Integrations Engineer (Finance) must possess a strong technical aptitude with significant hands-on experience supporting financial systems integrations and related technologies. A strong focus on cloud technologies is essential, partnered with a significant foundation with traditional Microsoft based technologies. Team members must be both technically proficient, as well as capable of articulating ideas and strategies in writing or verbally.

Technical Skills

·       Expertise with integration platforms and services such as IntApp Integrate, Azure Data Factory, and Boomi.

·       Expertise with APIs, ETL’s (Extract, Transform, Load), EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) technologies.

·       Experience with Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS technologies, including:

o   Virtual Servers, Networking, Azure SQL, Storage Accounts, Key Vaults.

o   Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Integration Services.

·       Experience with Windows based servers.

·       Experience with business continuity technologies (e.g., backups, failover, disaster recovery).

·       Experience with Azure Databases (Managed Instances) and Microsoft SQL technologies.

·       Practical knowledge of implementation lifecycles, methodologies, tools, and practices.

·       Formal IT qualifications or accreditations (for instance, ITIL, Prince 2, MCSE).

·       Understanding of standards and frameworks (for instance, SOC2, ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials).

Education, Experience and Certifications

·       Azure certifications are desirable and considered an asset.

·       ITIL certification and practical experience are highly valued.

·       Additional relevant technology certifications (e.g., MCSE, CISSP, or AWS certifications) are beneficial.

·       A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience working with financial and integraiton technologies.

·       Experience leading technical teams or projects is an asset.

·       Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise architecture and familiarity with common IT frameworks.

·       Proven experience working in culturally diverse and geographically distributed environments, fostering collaboration and inclusivity.
