Overview

As a Solutions Architect for Client Success Engineering, you play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing complex technical solutions that meet the needs of clients while aligning with the company’s strategic objectives. As a technical expert and strategic partner, you work closely with cross-functional teams, including Client Success, Product Management, and Engineering, to create scalable and innovative solutions that drive client satisfaction and long-term success. You are responsible for providing thought leadership and technical guidance to both internal teams and clients, ensuring the highest level of technical excellence and business alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and architecture of complex, scalable technical solutions that align with client needs and company objectives, collaborating with Client Success Engineers to assess requirements and guide the solution architecture lifecycle from planning through implementation.
  • Act as the technical lead on cross-functional initiatives, guiding internal teams and clients through technical challenges, mentoring CSEs and Sr. CSEs, and leading client-facing technical discussions, while ensuring adherence to industry standards and company guidelines.
  • Build trusted relationships with key client stakeholders as a strategic technical advisor, leading discovery sessions, defining technical strategies, and providing oversight throughout the engagement lifecycle to support client goals and long-term success.
  • Work with Product Management, Engineering, and Client Support to ensure client feedback is incorporated into the product roadmap, provide technical input during sales, and facilitate alignment between client needs and internal development capabilities.
  • Continuously improve solution design processes, advocate for automation and optimization, stay current with industry trends, and document technical solutions to support efficient client outcomes and scalability.
  • Identify and mitigate risks early, ensure rigorous testing of solutions for functionality and security, and proactively resolve post-launch issues in collaboration with engineering and client success teams.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a client-facing technical role, with a strong background in solution design, systems architecture, and technical consulting in SaaS environments.
  • Proven experience in API integration, data management, and technical architecture design, with deep knowledge of relevant protocols (e.g., REST, SOAP, FTP, XML, JSON).
  • Experience working with enterprise-level clients on complex technical projects, particularly in e-commerce, supply chain, or SaaS industries.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional technical initiatives and providing strategic technical guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues and deliver robust, scalable solutions.
  • Advanced understanding of data integration, system architecture, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Solid project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple high-priority projects and ensure on-time delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in project management or possessing certifications such as PMP or Agile is a plus.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and supply chain systems is highly desirable.
  • Experience in Designing and documenting complex systems and planning implementation improvements.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align technical solutions with client business goals and company strategy.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • The ability to lead and influence without direct management responsibility, fostering collaboration across teams.
  • Strong documentation skills, with the ability to create clear, comprehensive technical documentation for both internal and external use.
