Senior Product Manager Platform

Job Description

The Role:

As a Platform Product Manager, your primary responsibility is to ensure our platform continually evolves to meet and exceed customer expectations in scalability, reliability, and security.
Reporting to the VP of Product Management, you will define and execute a strategic roadmap that aligns with business objectives and customer needs. This individual contributor role requires extensive collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and operations, to ensure the platform's architecture supports seamless integration and interoperability of various products and services. Your focus will be on technical excellence and long-term stability, enabling our customers to achieve remarkable outcomes with their data and application ecosystems.

The position is based in the United States, with some travel required to HQ in San Mateo, CA.


What You’ll Do:
  • Define and execute the platform vision by ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs
  • Lead a team through product discovery, experimentation, usability testing, and the launch of innovative product improvements
  • Actively define the product roadmap, prioritize the backlog, and create business cases to outline new strategic product opportunities
  • Drive revenue growth by converting new and existing users
  • Collaborate closely with engineering to design and implement robust, secure APIs and platform services that support scalability and reliability
  • Work with internal teams, including product, engineering, and operations, to ensure cohesive platform development and deployment
  • Ability to make decisions based on analysis and data

  • What We’re Looking For:
  • 4+ years of product experience in B2B
  • Understanding of the technical architecture of data pipelines, warehousing and data management systems
  • Strong understanding of software development processes, API design, and system architecture
  • A strong commitment to understanding and addressing customer needs within the platform context
  • Familiar with UI/UX design and development process in conjunction with the information evolution process

  • Preferred qualifications:
  • 5+ years in product management with some leadership experience
  • Experience in areas of application and business systems integration, and PaaS
  • A blend of a big company and software startup experience is preferred
