Overview 

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for conducting financial modeling, due diligence, and valuation analysis related to potential acquisitions. This role will play a key part in evaluating investment opportunities, assessing financial risks, and supporting the company’s strategic growth initiatives. The position is fully remote, providing flexibility while collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • M&A Financial Analysis: Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence for potential acquisitions. 
  • Data Analysis: Analyze financial statements, operational metrics, and industry trends to assess target companies. 
  • Due Diligence Support: Assist in reviewing financial documents, contracts, and operational data to identify risks and opportunities. 
  • Market Research: Gather and interpret data on industry trends, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities. 
  • Investment Presentations: Prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations for leadership. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the M&A Associate, finance team, and senior leadership to support decision-making. 
  • Post-Acquisition Analysis: Monitor financial performance of acquired hospitals and compare actual results to projections.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 
  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or public accounting. 
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, including proficiency in Excel. 
  • Understanding of financial statements, forecasting, and M&A due diligence processes. 
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. 
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities. 
  • Experience in the healthcare, veterinary, or multi-location service industries is a plus.
