Job Description

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – BROKERS

In this new role to support continued growth, you will drive revenue growth by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with broker partners across the North of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.  You will identify new business opportunities, negotiate deals, and provide exceptional support to brokers.  Ideally you will start in June or July 2025.

You will regularly visit brokers and will therefore be required to travel within the UK, which may include overnight stays.

The role is remote, with a requirement to be onsite in Wellingborough once a quarter for business updates.

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

What you will do

  • Ensure that broker/introducers experience a first-class service from Arkle.
  • Be the primary point of contact for assigned Brokers/Introducers,
  • Improve the quality of business introduced to Arkle and have a positive impact quality of proposals, approval rates and conversion rates.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing panel of brokers/ introducers.
  • Regularly visit brokers / introducers and where required the end-user customers and dealers in line with sales plans, audit requirements, specific deals etc.  

What you will bring

  • Account Management experience in Financial Services.
  • Ability to work to sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer care skills.
  • Confidence to pitch in front of a large audience.
  • Clean driving licence and access to a car insured for business use.

It would be nice for you to have

  • Asset Finance experience
