Job Summary:

The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will serve as the primary liaison between business teams and the Business Systems team, responsible for gathering functional and business requirements from stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Account Management, Product/Engg, Customer Support and other teams across SmithRx. They will play a key role in evaluating incoming requests, assessing feasibility, and prioritizing enhancements to Salesforce and other integrated tools.

This role requires a strong understanding of Salesforce administration, including making configuration changes, implementing automation, managing user access and maintaining data integrity. The BSA will also help streamline processes using third-party tools like Talkdesk, DocuSign, Marketo and LeanData and create reports and dashboards to provide stakeholders with key insights. A solid understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies is necessary to collaborate effectively in an iterative development environment.

What you will do:

  • Serve as the primary liaison of intake for Business Systems requests, gathering business and functional requirements.
  • Make changes in Salesforce, including configuration, user management, security settings, and automation.
  • Help manage user access, ensuring appropriate roles, permissions, and security settings in Salesforce.
  • Work with Business, IT, InfoSec and Product/Engg to identify process inefficiencies and recommend automation solutions.
  • Create reports and dashboards to provide data-driven insights for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Support and maintain third-party integrations (e.g., Talkdesk, DocuSign, Marketo, LeanData) to improve team efficiency.
  • Work within a Scrum/Agile framework, collaborating with the team to refine requirements and prioritize system enhancements.
  • Document best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process workflows to ensure consistency and scalability.
  • Provide end-user support and training, troubleshooting Salesforce issues, and ensuring adoption of system changes.

What you will bring to SmithRx:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator with hands-on experience in configuration, automation and user access management.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (required).
  • Experience with third-party integrated tools used by operations teams, such as Talkdesk, DocuSign, Marketo, and LeanData.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce automation tools (e.g., Flows, Validation Rules, Approval Process).
  • Ability to create reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies, participating in sprints, backlog grooming, and user story refinement.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with data integrity management, deduplication and reporting tools within Salesforce.
