Currently, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Java Engineer to join our team in the aviation industry. As a key technical expert, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance software solutions that ensure reliability, scalability, and efficiency in critical aviation systems.  

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between various systems, ensuring seamless data exchange and reliability.
• Build and optimize Java-based backend solutions with a focus on scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Utilize Python for data processing, scripting, and automation in integration workflows.
• Develop and maintain efficient data pipelines, working with Polars for data manipulation and transformation.
• Design and optimize queries and database structures using MSSQL, ensuring performance and scalability.
• Work with Azure Blob Storage to store and manage data efficiently.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, document integration processes, and ensure best practices are followed.
• Apply best practices when handling specialized data and systems.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in backend development using Java (Spring Boot, Quarkus, or similar frameworks).
• Proven experience integrating various systems using REST APIs, message brokers, or other integration technologies.
• Experience with Python for scripting, automation, or data processing tasks.
• Familiarity with Polars or other data processing frameworks for efficient handling of large datasets.
• Strong knowledge of MSSQL, including query optimization and database design best practices.
• Experience working with Azure Blob Storage for data management would be an advantage. 
• Experience with Windmill for workflow automation or scripting would be an advantage.
• Understanding of aviation systems, standards, and best practices is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize integrations and backend services effectively.
• Strong communication skills and experience working in agile teams.
