Job Title: Data Analyst
Location: Remote
Reports To: Supply Chain Manager
Work Shift: ACT
Working Hours: 20 hours/ week
Rate: $4/hour

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Data Analyst to support our Inventory Analyst/Planning Lead in production planning, forecasting, and logistics optimization. This role will focus on data collection, analysis, and reporting to improve inventory accuracy, demand forecasting, and cost efficiency. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience in supply chain data analysis, and proficiency in data tools and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Collect, clean, and analyze inventory, production, and logistics data to support decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain inventory tracking dashboards to monitor stock levels, demand trends, and supply chain efficiency.
  • Generate forecasting models based on historical data, market trends, and customer demand.
  • Create performance reports to assess vendor, warehouse, and 3PL logistics efficiency.

Inventory & Supply Chain Support

  • Assist in demand forecasting and production planning by providing data-driven insights.
  • Identify inventory discrepancies and recommend solutions to improve stock accuracy.
  • Track inbound shipments and warehouse operations to ensure proper documentation and compliance.
  • Support cost analysis for vendor and 3PL contract reviews, identifying opportunities for savings.


Process Optimization & Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Inventory Analyst/Planning Lead to improve inventory planning processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Suggest automation and process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, inventory planning, or supply chain analytics.
  • Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros), SQL, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Experience working with ERP systems and supply chain software is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of forecasting models and statistical analysis.
  • Experience in logistics coordination and vendor performance analysis.
  • Familiarity with supply chain cost optimization strategies.
