Junior Data Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Data Analyst to join our growing team at Zipliens. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the Mass Tort team by managing complex data exchanges, ensuring data integrity, and developing insightful visualizations that enhance client communications.

As a key member of the Mass Tort team, you will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and development teams to streamline data processes and build efficient data tools within the Zipliens portal. Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Manage inbound and outbound data exchanges to support the mass tort team.
  • Create and review data files for seamless exchange with vendors and agencies, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Oversee recurring monthly data exchanges with key partners, including Medicare, LRP vendors, and Medicaid agencies.
  • Develop data visualizations to enhance client communications and provide actionable insights.
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies, including errors and omissions from clients and vendors.
  • Design and implement tools to streamline data validation processes and improve data integrity.
  • Collaborate with developers to identify needs and build effective data tools within the Zipliens portal for both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Excel for data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
  • Experience managing and organizing large data sets, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thoughtfully and effectively identify and address challenges.
  • First order decision-making abilities, with an understanding of how choices impact broader outcomes.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to convey information concisely and accurately.
  • Professionalism and self-sufficiency in daily work and interactions.
  • Experience working in a remote environment, demonstrating self-motivation, reliability, and effective virtual collaboration.
  • Familiarity with the personal injury, mass tort industry, or lien processes – preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or Statistics) – preferred.
  • Willingness to travel minimally (1–2 times per year) as required.

Pay Disclosure: In the states of CA, CO, CT, NV, NY, RI, WA, the total base salary range for this role is $55,000 - $70,000 annually, with the opportunity to earn commission. Final compensation will be determined based on skills and experience.
