For one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Workflows Platform, remotely from San Francisco, California.

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Workflows Platform team, you will play a key role in shaping the architecture and scaling the product to meet the needs of an expanding customer base. You’ll focus on designing solutions for complex customer challenges, optimizing workflows, and ensuring low-latency, high-performance services. Your contributions will enhance both the customer experience and internal development processes as you partner with product and engineering teams to deliver impactful features and maintain a reliable platform.

Accountabilities:

• Architect and implement scalable solutions to meet complex customer needs in the workflows domain.
• Develop and maintain high-availability workflow services with a focus on zero downtime.
• Collaborate with product management to define and refine project requirements and scope.
• Work closely with other engineering teams to ensure smooth collaboration across the platform.
• Drive improvements in engineering practices and contribute to team growth.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in designing and delivering highly-available services.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Expertise in high-volume, high-throughput services.
• Experience with data pipelines, data modeling, and data warehousing.
• Proficient in RESTful services, web technologies, and Java.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a team-first mindset.
