For one of our clients, we are looking for a Partnership Development Manager, remotely from Italy, Netherlands, UK, Belgium, and Germany.

As a Partnership Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving and expanding the partner network to accelerate business growth. The role involves building and nurturing strong relationships with key ecosystem partners, such as accounting firms, ERP providers, payment platforms, and marketplaces. You will work cross-functionally to develop go-to-market strategies and collaborate with teams to ensure alignment between partner efforts and overall business goals. A strong understanding of indirect tax (VAT, GST, sales tax) and a proven track record in partner management is key to success in this role.

Accountabilities

  • Identify, engage, and onboard new partners, including accounting firms, ERP providers, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Develop and execute joint go-to-market strategies with partners to drive customer acquisition.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key partners, ensuring mutual success and growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, marketing, and customer success to align partnership strategies with business objectives.
  • Drive revenue growth by enabling partners to generate leads, support sales efforts, and increase customer acquisition.
  • Represent the company at industry events, forums, and webinars to build brand awareness and strengthen market positioning.
  • Track and analyze partner performance, continuously optimizing strategies to maximize growth.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in partner development, business development, or strategic alliances, preferably in fintech, SaaS, or tax technology.
  • Strong knowledge of indirect tax compliance (VAT, GST, sales tax) and the role of technology in automating tax processes.
  • Experience working with accounting firms, ERP providers, payment platforms, or marketplace ecosystems is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage partnerships from negotiation to execution and ongoing management.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Self-starter with a results-driven mindset and a passion for building strategic relationships.
