We invite a Senior QA Engineer to join our team and contribute to the brand new project. You’ll help the team to plan and implement the integration of large products in the Point of Sale domain, where the goals are to bring the most value to the end user and offer new opportunities for clients.

✅ Is that you?

  • 4+ years' experience in software quality control and assurance industry with strong QA process
  • knowledge
  • Experience with complex distributed systems
  • Understanding of the principles of microservices architecture and system integration
  • Strong REST API testing skills, knowledge of RDBMS and SQL
  • Experience with CI/CD
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and engineering practices
  • Experience in requirements analysis, effort estimation and task scheduling
  • Solid test design skills
  • Upper-Intermediate level English and well-developed communication skills
  • Special attention to software quality and usability

Desirable:

  • Experience with load testing
  • Experience in Point of Sale domain, POS or Bankcard industry knowledge
  • Understanding of user interface design and user experience principles to ensure that testing aligns with how real users interact with the app
  • Experience with Jira, qTest, SQL and Postman

🧩Key responsibilities and your contribution

  • Ensure project quality working closely with the team of developers, BAs and PMs • Perform functional, non-functional, regression, acceptance testing 
  • Perform API, web application testing 
  • Assist BAs with reviewing and testing requirements 
  • Create and maintain related test documentation 
  • Proactively obtain and clarify functional and non-functional requirements as necessary • Perform workload planning 
  • Strong analytical skills to identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and find solutions in complex app  scenarios 
  • The ability to report bugs effectively and provide provide feedback to developers
