Role Overview:

Support the client's growing patient base by providing exceptional care through our patient portal. This role is crucial in ensuring patients receive accurate and timely responses to their inquiries regarding GLP-1 medications, side effects, dosage conversions, and other treatment-related questions. As part of our patient support team, you will play a key role in delivering high quality telehealth experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to patient inquiries via the secure patient portal.
  • Educate patients on medications, including dosing, side effects, and adherence to best practices.
  • Triage patient concerns, escalating complex cases to the appropriate provider or Lead RN as needed.
  • Process and route lab work review requests to the correct provider for assessment.
  • Maintain high accuracy and efficiency while working independently with minimal supervision

Week 1 Ownership:

  • Respond to patient inquiries promptly and accurately.
  • Set up and familiarize yourself with Slack for team communication.
  • Review the FAQ and program materials to gain a solid understanding of processes.
  • Explore and navigate the patient portal to ensure efficiency in assisting patients.

Requirements

Must-Haves:

  • Strong understanding of patient inquiries and the ability to interpret context accurately.
  • Experience in a customer service or patient-facing role.
  • Background in telehealth, healthcare support, or clinical environments.
  • Proficiency in written communication for clear, professional patient messaging.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR), electronic medical records (EMR), and telehealth platforms.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Strong communication skills, both in written and verbal
  • Curious and inquisitive mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience in endocrinology, weight management, or related medical fields.
  • Prior experience handling lab work reviews and medication dosage guidance.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new protocols and process changes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge and experience in communication tools (Slack, Gsuite, patient portals)
