Business Development Manager (West)

Job Description

Symmetrio is currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager for our customer, a leading multi-national medical equipment company. As a Business Development Manager, you'll drive new sales and revenue growth by identifying potential clients, building relationships, and closing deals within the healthcare sector. You'll also manage existing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term business growth.

This role covers territories across the Mountain West (Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, and Wyoming), requiring residency near a major airport within the territory. The position offers a compensation package of $75,000 plus commission. Travel expectations are up to 75% within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the healthcare market.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline within the assigned territory.
  • Establish relationships with key decision-makers at hospitals and healthcare organizations.
  • Present solutions that align with client needs and close deals effectively.
  • Manage and grow existing client relationships by introducing new products and services.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and market shifts.
  • Track sales activity and maintain accurate data in the company's CRM.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 2+ years of successful capital medical sales experience.
  • Strong strategic selling skills with a long-term business growth mindset.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to understand healthcare processes and identify key opportunities.
  • Strong negotiation and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willing to travel overnight (up to 75% within the U.S.).
