About the Role We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team and help build and maintain robust data pipelines and infrastructure. The ideal candidate has experience working with SQL and Python and is familiar with modern data stack tools such as Snowflake, dbt, ThoughtSpot, and AWS. You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing data workflows that enable analytics, reporting, and decision-making across the organization.

 This is a fully remote opportunity and can be worked from any location in Poland. Candidates must be based in Poland and be able to travel to the office in Kraków as needed.


Responsibilities
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ELT/ETL workflows
  • Design and implement data models in Snowflake to support analytics and reporting needs
  • Build and maintain dbt transformations for efficient data processing and modeling
  • Integrate and automate data ingestion processes using tools like Fivetran
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices are followed
  • Collaborate with analysts, analytics engineers/BI Developers, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data pipeline performance and reliability

  • Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in data engineering, ELT/ETL development or related role
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing and automation
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses
  • Experience using dbt for data modeling and transformation
  • Familiarity with Fivetran or other ELT tools for data ingestion
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL/ELT best practices
  • Ability to work with APIs and automate data workflows
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Experience with ThoughtSpot or other self-service BI/analytics platforms
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for data engineering
