For one of our clients, we are looking for a Project Manager - Commercial Roofing, remotely from the United States.

As a Commercial Roofing Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of multiple commercial roofing projects from pre-construction through to finalization. Your role involves coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. We seek an experienced and team-oriented roofing professional to lead project management efforts, focusing on timely and cost-effective project delivery.

Accountabilities:

• Develop and manage project schedules and phasing plans.
• Control project costs through ECAC and WIP reviews.
• Supervise project manpower and ensure efficient resource allocation.
• Coordinate project activities to achieve successful outcomes, emphasizing timely and budget-conscious completion.
• Conduct thorough plan and specification reviews for new and reroof projects.
• Oversee on-site management of assigned projects, including subcontractor coordination and supervision.
• Prioritize and manage multiple activities across various projects.
• Foster client relationships to secure repeat business through effective project management.
• Participate in pre-job meetings to facilitate smooth transitions from estimating to operations.
• Prepare purchase order requests and manage procurement processes.
• Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders regarding scheduling and progress.
• Ensure proper inventory management of materials at project sites.
• Coordinate final inspections with customers and manufacturers, advising estimating teams upon project completion.
• Complete comprehensive project closeout documentation.
• Uphold quality control standards across all projects.
• Assist estimating teams with job walks and small service projects as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of commercial roofing experience.
• Proven experience in project management and/or estimating within the commercial roofing or similar construction industry.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and project documentation.
• Understanding of commercial/industrial roofing system design, installation code compliance, and manufacturer requirements for warranties.
• Experience with project management software is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with effective time management abilities.
• Organized and enjoys working in outdoor environments.
• Ability to lift and climb up and down a 30 ft. ladder or multiple flights of stairs.
• Capable of receiving instructions and clearly explaining problems and solutions to customers.
• Adherence to all job-site safety requirements, including the use of PPE and fall protection.
• Team-oriented with a commitment to upholding the company's core values.
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
• Willingness to travel as required.
