Job Role : Contract Administrator & Operations Manager

Work Schedule : Full-Time Equivalent

Salary range : $1,800 - $2,500 AUD/month

Who The Client Is: A professional services firm working in the property and construction space, providing end-to-end solutions from acquisition to exit. Specializing in Acquisitions, Capital Structuring, Development Advisory, and Project Management across various asset classes, they maximize profits, reduce costs, and ensure long-term success in a dynamic property and construction market.

Role Overview: The Contract Administrator plays a pivotal role in the successful execution of contract administration for our projects as well as for contracts between the company and its clients, for the company’s own contracts as well as contracts with consultants and builders.This role combines expertise in construction and finance with strong organizational and administrative capabilities. 

Key Responsibilities:

Projects – Assisting Project Managers

  • Procurement and analysis of consultants and contractors submissions.
  • Assessment of progress claims. 
  • Issuance of Project Claim Certificates and Cost Reports.

Clients – Assisting Managing Director 

  • active contract management of the company’s own contracts with clients, including variations, 
  • updating resource planning, 
  • overseeing book-keeper for issuance of invoices and debtor collection.

Operations - Assisting the Managing Director 

  • Managing Compliances including insurance renewals 
  • Create (from templates) and manage our online client project websites. We use Sharepoint for this. 
  • Managing Monthly Management Reports 
  • Chase Timesheets for the team 
  • Arrange performance reviews 
  • Onboarding and Offboarding Staff Members
  • All other operational requirements

Team Support 

  • Diary Management (especially Business Development Meetings). 

Requirements:

Required Skills:

  • Experience in Construction Management including time on construction sites  
  • Experience in Contract Administration for construction projects, including procuring consultants and contractors, managing progress claims and cost reports.  
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively.  
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. 

Experience  

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a Contract Administration role in Construction.
