About Pavago:
Pavago is seeking a highly skilled Controller to join our client’s team. This role requires a strong background in full-cycle accounting, financial analysis, and Sage Intact. The ideal candidate should have experience with construction accounting, excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage financial data efficiently. This position is best suited for an analytical and detail-oriented professional who can handle financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and oversee month-end closing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full-Cycle Accounting: Handle journal entries, payroll, fixed assets, accounts receivable, accounts payable, balance sheet reconciliations, month-end close, and financial statement preparation.
• Sage Intaact Management: Manage financial data from multiple sources and ensure accurate input into Sage Intaact Must be able to quickly learn new financial systems.
• Construction Accounting: Has extensive experience with construction accounting and knows the ins and outs of it.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, evaluate financial performance, and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Excel Proficiency: Utilize advanced Excel skills for financial modelling, reporting, and data management.
• Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking: Identify financial discrepancies, analyze complex financial data, and implement corrective actions.
• Communication & Coordination: Effectively communicate financial issues and deadlines to team members and management, ensuring employees complete Fyle transactions in a timely manner.
• Detail-Oriented Approach: Maintain accuracy in financial records, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Experience: 4+ years of experience in financial management, accounting, or controlling roles and experience working with financial platforms and reporting tools.
• Knowledge: Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting and financial statement preparation. 
• Software: Advanced proficiency in Sage Intacct.
• Financial Understanding: Strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Internet: Reliable internet connection for seamless remote work.

What Does a Typical Day Look Like?
Your day will involve managing financial transactions, overseeing Sage Intacct operations, ensuring accurate reconciliations, and preparing financial statements. You will work on month-end closing, analyze financial reports, and provide strategic recommendations to improve financial efficiency. Additionally, you’ll ensure employees complete transactions in a timely manner while maintaining attention to detail and data accuracy.
