Customer Support & Report Builder (Part-time)

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Customer Support & Report Builder to support our customer base by creating custom inventory reports using data from sensors inside commercial refrigerators. This role involves data entry, organizing reports, and communicating with customers to ensure they receive timely insights regarding their inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize data from sensors in commercial refrigerators to identify low inventory levels, outages, and purchases.
  • Compile and organize custom inventory reports for commercial refrigerators, summarizing key metrics for customers.
    • Example: Highlighting trends, such as “you’ve had 5 more outages of Mountain Dew last week than this week.”
  • Assist the Head of Engineering in reducing the time spent on report preparation, currently estimated at 6 hours per week.
  • Communicate with customers primarily through email and chat, with potential for phone support in the future.
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base and scripts for efficient customer support.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to customers.
  • Collaborate with the customer support team to enhance the customer experience.

Requirements

  • Strong English proficiency (both written and verbal) is required.
  • Previous experience in customer support, preferably in a technical environment.
  • Experience in report building and data organization.
  • Strong critical thinking skills to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and merchandising planograms is a plus (not a must-have).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
