Strategic Account Executive

Job Description

Salsify is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, and driven Strategic Account Executive who has previous SaaS experience and an affinity for solution selling. As a Strategic Account Executive at Salsify, you will manage some of our largest and most complex customers.  This includes selling our Salsify PXM Advance platform, associated add-on modules and professional services to large, multi-national, multi-billion dollar brand manufacturers. 

Strategic Account Executives are responsible for taking a strategic sales approach to further sell and expand Salsify’s presence and relationships within a small group of named clients comprised of the most well-known brand manufacturers in the world.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Develop and drive thoughtful Strategic Account Planning across your portfolio of customers.
  • Manage the executive level relationships at our largest customers to ensure business value is delivered and renewals are executed
  • Work cross-functionally with Salsify’s key internal teams, including sharing updates with the executive team, feeding information to the product/engineering team to help influence the product roadmap, and collaborating with the customer success team to ensure our customers are successful
  • Hunt for new opportunities within our customer base and employ a proven sales process that builds business value, evangelizes Salsify with the support of our internal champions and closes contracts

You'll Enjoy This Role If You Have:

  • Spent the last 10+ years exceeding an assigned quota within an assigned customer base
  • Sold SaaS to business units and key personas that include CMOs, VPs, & Directors
  • Experience working within a named account model
  • Leveraged and optimized relationships with key accounts in the Fortune 100/500/1000 space
  • Executed multiple complex sales processes concurrently
  • Consistently met and exceeded assigned quota associated with assigned customer base
  • Professional sales training and adherence to a repeatable sales process, experience with MEDDIC is a plus
  • Proven experience with working in remote environments. Location is flexible but must be U.S based.
