Reporting to the Director, Buyer Development EMEA, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by executing strategic sales initiatives across brands, agencies, trading desks (ATDs), consultancies, and managed service providers in the DACH region. This role requires a balance of new business development and strategic account growth to maximize platform spend and to succeed, you will need to balance new business acquisition with account growth, ensuring sustained investment and expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and strengthen relationships with advertisers, media agencies, ATDs, and consultancies across the DACH region to drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities across Display, Video, and CTV.
Work closely with buyers at media agencies or advertisers teams to position OpenX as a key programmatic partner to help advertisers connect with their target audiences and desired inventory across OpenX’s suite of premium publishers across Display/Video/CTV.
Act as the key local point of contact for global and regional deals, ensuring seamless execution, maximizing revenue opportunities, and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders.
Managing a pipeline of opportunities in Salesforce and providing regular reporting to management on deal progress
Represent OpenX at key industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand relationships, stay ahead of industry trends, and drive visibility in the market.
Required Skills and Qualifications
You have a strong sales background (7-10 years experience) in digital advertising, with experience working at a publisher, ad network, SSP, DSP, ad exchange, or media agency with established relationships with a wide network of agency activation contacts providing a strong foundation for business expansion in the region.
You have a strong ability to balance business development with account management, ensuring ongoing growth and success for both new and existing clients.
You are a confident and persuasive communicator, capable of delivering compelling presentations to a variety of stakeholders.
Ability to work autonomously and effectively plan and manage working day structure whilst collaborating closely with Senior Director, Buyer Dev EMEA
Established relationships with Publicis, IPG, and other key agencies are a plus.
