[Job- 20431] Senior Back End Engineer Senior (Node.js), Colombia

We are seeking a talented and experienced back-end engineer with expertise in Node.js and C# (is a plus) to join our dynamic development team. As a back-end engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side components of our software applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, product managers, and designers, to understand project requirements and technical specifications.

Design and develop robust, scalable, and efficient server-side solutions using Node.js and C# (which is a plus).

Implement and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services to support our web and mobile applications.

Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code while following coding standards and best practices.

Perform code reviews and provide feedback to peers to ensure code quality and consistency.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and bugs in a timely manner.

Optimize server-side performance and reliability, addressing bottlenecks and scalability challenges.

Collaborate in the planning and execution of software releases and updates.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to backend development.

Good English communication, Spanish is a nice to have

Solid experience as a back-end engineer with expertise in Node.js and C#.

Proficiency in server-side development, including RESTful API design and implementation.

Strong understanding of database systems and data modeling.

Experience with test automation tools.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.

Knowledge or experience in payment methods (e.g., Mercado Pago).

Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is advantageous.
