We are looking for a Data Analytics Manager to join our team. In this role, your time will be split 40%/60% between individual contributor (IC) and people management obligations.
IC Component
You will own the business relationship and analytics throughput of our Fintech vertical, dealing with data about our financial products, membership program and transactional user behavior. We are looking for someone with 3 or more years of experience as an Analytics or Data Science individual contributor who can autonomously address problems and share actionable recommendations that help grow our Fintech business. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of experimentation, trend analysis, and causal inference. You should be highly knowledgeable in SQL and Python, comfortable completing peer reviews, and familiar with our techstack or similar tools & services: dbt, Secoda, Looker, Amplitude, Jupyter.
People Management Component
The Data Analytics Manager will guide an experienced and knowledgeable team of data analysts, and one data scientist. This team supports the Super App vertical (covering engagement, acquisition, and retention topics) and the Operations team (reporting and deriving insights on agent and customer support data). You will provide technical mentorship, managerial support in the form of time-off requests and career development planning, and strategic guidance to your team. Our data science career path is new; you will also have a hand in establishing best practices and selecting the appropriate toolset for our new scientists. Ideally, you have previously worked on-the-job in a management role.

Visualizations: you will help explain our data in a way that makes sense, evaluating the need and delegating the development of automated dashboards and reports
Presentations: you will present insightful findings and share data-driven recommendations that help us make informed decisions
Hard Questions: you do not shy away from complexity; as such, you take the time to understand problems, their business implications, and provide solutions that meet the need
Who we’re looking for:
3+ years as a Data Analyst or Scientist
Previous working experience as a people manager
Expert level SQL and highly proficient with Python for data science
Experience modeling and analyzing a high volume of relational and unstructured transactional/ financial data
Good understanding of the Fintech industry, specifically as it relates to Credit and Payment Processing
