As a Software Engineer at Second Front Systems, you’ll work hands-on with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines, configuring and maintaining workflows to ensure efficient and reliable integration and delivery processes. You’ll automate templates to streamline operations and build optimized Docker images using libraries. Additionally, you’ll leverage your Kubernetes expertise to manage secure and scalable deployments. This role offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging projects that drive the success of Workshop. 

Skills You’ll Bring to Our Team

- Configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in GitLab to ensure efficient and reliable integration and delivery processes.
- Develop and Maintain backend services and automation tools using Go, Rust, Python and Bash. 
- Expert in automating templates in GitLab to optimize workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
- Experienced in building and optimizing Docker images using libraries to support deployment needs.
- Proficient in managing Kubernetes environments to enable secure, scalable, and reliable deployments.
- Strong commitment to documenting applications and process you create

Preferred Qualifications

- 4-7 years of relevant experience 
- Proficiency in Go, Rust, Python, Bash, and Typescript
- Certified AWS Solutions Architect and/ or Azure Solutions Architect
- Experience in systems administration, systems or software engineering, and/ or computer science
- Experience with containerization ( Docker) and building optimized images
- Strong interest in matters of national security
- Experience working in a startup environment
- Ability to adopt, create and iterate on changing procedures
