About The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Product to lead the development of our new multi-currency and investment solutions at Faimoney. As we expand our product offering to include features such as multi-currency wallets, FX remittance, USD cards, cryptocurrency trading, and stock investments, we need a visionary leader with deep expertise in fintech, digital assets, and financial services. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in shaping our product strategy, driving innovation, and delivering exceptional financial services to users across our markets.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for multi-currency wallets, FX remittance, USD cards, crypto trading, and stock investment features. Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and customer needs to enhance our product suite.
2. Fintech Expertise: Utilize deep fintech knowledge and insights to drive product innovation. Stay ahead of industry trends, and identify emerging technologies such as blockchain, AI-driven FX solutions, and advanced security features that can enhance our offerings.
3. Digital Assets & Investment Solutions: Lead the development of features that support digital assets like cryptocurrencies and facilitate stock trading through our app. Build a seamless, integrated experience for users to manage their finances and investments.
4. Multi-Currency Wallet Management: Oversee the creation and enhancement of multi-currency wallet features, ensuring instant currency conversion, global remittance options, and secure management of funds.
5. Market Research: Conduct research and competitive analysis to understand the demand for these financial services, identify user pain points, and inform product development and positioning.
6. Customer-Centric Approach: Champion a customer-first approach in product development, ensuring that all initiatives focus on delivering value and a top-tier user experience.
7. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on relevant regulations and compliance requirements for offering multi-currency accounts, FX remittance, cryptocurrency trading, and stock investments. Ensure our products meet global compliance standards.
8. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and operations teams to deliver new features and products on schedule. Foster a collaborative environment to drive innovation.
9. Performance Tracking: Define KPIs and metrics to measure the success of new product launches, feature adoption, and overall product performance. Continuously analyze performance data to make informed improvements.
10. Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing product team. Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement, ensuring that the team remains focused on our strategic objectives.

Preferred background & experience:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of proven experience in fintech, product management, and digital assets, preferably in global or emerging markets.
3. Strong understanding of multi-currency management, FX solutions, cryptocurrency trading, and stock investment platforms.
4. Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling complex financial products and services.
5. Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
6. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Experience with regulatory compliance in the global financial services and digital assets industry.
9. Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
10. Passion for innovation, financial technology, and making a positive impact on users and communities.

Location: The position is only open to candidates in Nigeria.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Product Manager in the lending industry, preferably within the fintech sector.
• In-depth knowledge of lending products and services, including consumer and small business lending, credit scoring models, and risk assessment.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and launching successful fintech products.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with the Nigerian and African fintech markets and an understanding of local customer preferences and behaviors is a bonus but not essential
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in managing and motivating high-performing product teams.
• Creative problem solver mindset with a data-driven and KPI-oriented approach using such tools as SQL, Python and Excel
