Position:
We are currently looking for a Data Solutions Architect to become a part of our team.

About the project:
As part of this project, we cooperate with a global insurance company. The client is designing internal Data Analytics products that are deployed and operated within the client's organisation.

Tools stack:
Synapse workspace: SQL dedicated pool, Spark Pool, on-demand Pool, Synapse Pipelines; ADLS gen2; Azure Functions; Azure services for application maintenance and implementation such as Key Vault, Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, Microsoft Entra ID and many others; Informatica IDMC; Erwin Data Modelling; Github + Github actions, Terraform; Dynatrace for monitoring; Jira/Confluence; Power BI; SAP/financial domain knowledge is appreciated; Clients Internal Application as ADOIT for architecture diagrams, ServiceNow as workflow management.

Requirements

As a Data Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for:

• Data/Solution Architecture concepts and principals creation;
• Chairman of the Community of Practice meeting for Data Modelling and Data Engineering;
• “Quality gate” for data management and data pipelines artifacts including pull requests reviews and final approval;
• Part of Architecture digital transformation team with respective activities of overall Architecture alignments, knowledge sharing sessions, customer onboarding;
• Architectural documents and diagram creation;
• Part of the Architecture chapter of the huge analytical platform first runner project with possibility to influence on the platform evolution;
• Responsible architect for the Application part of the analytical platform including alignments and cooperation with Microsoft architects and Platform development team on heterogeneous topic;
• Involvement in the implementation process based on the capacity;
• Participation in PoC to share architecture components;
• Day to day consultancy of Customers, supervised teams, other projects representatives.
  

We expect from you:

• Expert knowledge of Azure or AWS cloud services;
• Experience in the role of Solutions Architect
• Excellent communication skills;
• English level Upper-Intermediate/B2 and higher (written and spoken);
• Experience in Azure Data Lake and Azure Synapse will be a plus.
