You will be expected to:
  • Set monitoring and alerting of multiple environments
  • participate in 24/7 on-call rotation
  • oversee production platform deployments
  • establish cooperation rules for SRE, Development and DevOps teams
  • build highly available infrastructure for the SaaS platform
  • identify new tools and processes to improve the cloud platform and automate processes (e.g. create automation for log file management)
  • program applications to be optimized to work within constructs of an AWS environment
  • set up or manage backups and patching across the environments
  • serve as a technical point of contact on customer engagements
  • collaborate with the engineering team to define and implement solutions with external and internal cloud services features such as auto-scaling, elastic load balancing, instance right-sizing, disaster recovery strategies, and tiered storage

    • Our requirements:
  • microservice and web environment debugging and problem-solving skills
  • hands-on experience in the installation, configuration, automation, and monitoring of various Cloud Services
  • hands-on experience with DevOps/Automation tools e.g. AWS Cloud Formation, Ansible, Jenkins, Git
  • experience with Amazon Web Services (Azure and/or Google Cloud are nice to have)
  • experience in application virtualization – Kubernetes, Docker
  • experience with IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing and firewalling concepts – (focus on AWS Networking)
