The Magnet Review Team is looking for a talented platform engineer to join our growing team, responsible for building the next generation of digital forensics products enhancing collaboration between various stakeholders in the agency org.
You will be part of the team responsible for delivering our Customer-Hosted REVIEW solution, driving best practices and improvements related to hardware, storage and Kubernetes configurations.

Role Expectations
Participate in support calls with customer and professional services team for timely resolution of issues
Troubleshoot customer environment problems in different deployment model
Adapt to changes as they arise from business & customer needs
Establish best practices for our varying deployment models including hardware and storage recommendations
Communication across the product and throughout the organization to share knowledge and build consensus.
Provide informal and formal mentorship within and outside the team.
Identify and advocate for improvements across process, tools and architecture
Skills Required
Expertise in designing and measuring the performance of on-prem storage systems (JBOD, Dell PowerVault, Dell Unity, VMWare SAN, etc.)
Proficiency with networking design, protocols (ie: S3, iSCSI)
3+ years of experience with Python and/or Go
3+ years or experience building and maintaining Kubernetes clusters
Experience working with Cloud Providers (AWS, Azure)
Proficiency in Linux shell scripting (create, debug, maintain, etc.)
Proficiency using Git based version control systems
Nice to have skills
Experience working in high security environments
Experience generating effective and efficient project documentation

Please note that the actual compensation may vary depending on location and job-related factors such as qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills.
