We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Account Executive to join our New Verticals Sales team. In this role, you will focus on identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities within Mid-Market accounts across emerging industry verticals. You will work closely with an assigned Inside Sales Representative to generate pipeline and drive new revenue. Additionally, you will collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, partnerships, customer success, and design teams to provide feedback and help refine our go-to-market strategy. This role reports to the Mid Market Manager of New Verticals, Sales.

Own and drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to close within Mid-Market accounts in new verticals
Develop and nurture relationships with C-level executives, VPs, and Directors to establish Attentive as a strategic partner
Partner with your Inside Sales Representative to build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities
Conduct high-impact sales presentations, product demonstrations, and lead negotiations to drive revenue growth
Represent Attentive at industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities to drive brand awareness and lead generation
Leverage Salesforce and other sales tools to track progress, measure success, and ensure operational efficiency
About you
1-3 years of closing sales experience, preferably within SMS marketing, SaaS, MarTech, AdTech, or a startup environment
Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas, with strong references to support performance
Experience engaging with Mid-Market organizations and navigating complex sales cycles
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM tools to manage pipeline and forecast sales performance
Self-motivated, resilient, and eager to succeed in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
