Web Developer

Job Description

Our client is a dynamic and innovative digital marketing agency. We are seeking a skilled and motivated developer to join our remote team.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Website Deployment & Management

• Launch and configure new websites, ensuring smooth deployment.
• Move websites between servers and domains with minimal downtime.

• Manage website hosting, security, and performance optimization.

2. Backend Troubleshooting & Maintenance

• Diagnose and resolve backend issues related to code, plugins, and integrations.
• Debug and fix technical errors that impact website functionality.
• Maintain and optimize databases for performance and reliability.

3. Server & Domain Management

• Configure and manage website servers (e.g., cPanel, Cloudflare, AWS, DigitalOcean).
• Set up and manage DNS settings, SSL certificates, and domain configurations.
• Monitor server health and perform regular maintenance.

4. Automation & Integration

• Create and maintain Zapier connections between websites, CRMs, and third-party applications.
• Troubleshoot and optimize automation workflows to improve efficiency.

5. Technical Support & Problem-Solving

• Provide technical support for website-related issues.
• Identify and fix issues affecting website connections to CRMs, email marketing platforms, and third-party tools.
• Maintain documentation for processes, troubleshooting steps, and best practices.

Requirements

Strong experience with WordPress (custom themes, plugins, troubleshooting).

• Knowledge of Shopify, Webflow, or other CMS platforms (preferred but not required).
• Ability to work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP for debugging and customization.

Server & Hosting Management

• Experience with cPanel, Plesk, Cloudflare, and web hosting services.
• Knowledge of Linux server administration and command-line basics.
• Understanding of DNS, domain transfers, and SSL certificates.

Automation & Integrations

• Strong proficiency with Zapier and other automation tools.
• Experience with API integrations between websites, CRMs, and marketing tools.
• Familiarity with webhooks and data transfer methods.
  

Debugging & Technical Troubleshooting

• Experience identifying and resolving WordPress plugin conflicts.
• Proficiency in debugging JavaScript, PHP, and API connection issues.
• Ability to troubleshoot CRM integrations and marketing automation

Benefits

• Client Relationship: You will be directly working with the client. This means that you will communicate with the client, provide services, and address any client-related matters independently.

• Payment: All payments for your services will be handled directly by the client. Elevate and Delegate is not involved in processing your payroll. Your salary will go directly to you.
• Vacation Leaves and Holidays: While we may have recommendations or guidelines regarding vacation leaves and holidays, the decision is entirely at the client's discretion. You are expected to align your schedule with the client's business needs and any specific policies or preferences they may have in this regard.

Salary: $10 - $16 / hour

Schedule: 20 hours a week
