About the Position

Zenarate is looking for an experienced and passionate Software Integration Engineer to build and optimize scalable, secure, and reliable systems that support our AI-driven solutions. Roles and Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of system development and lifecycle, from building maintainable, resilient, and scalable new systems to enhancing existing ones. 
• Collaborate with team members to solve complex business challenges through innovative technology. 
• Mentor and guide junior engineers to foster professional growth and technical excellence. 
• Drive the success of team initiatives, ensuring high-quality outcomes. 
• Lead proof-of-concept (POC) projects to push technical boundaries and elevate team innovation. 

Requirements

• Ability to write maintainable, extensible, and readable code, including unit test cases, in Python using Flask and FastAPI frameworks.
• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in integration strategies.
• A degree in Computer Science from a reputed or selective university.
• Strong understanding of design patterns with the ability to apply them to real-world projects.
• Proficient debugging skills for identifying and resolving issues effectively.
• Capability to read and modify existing codebase confidently.
• Experience in building, maintaining, and debugging distributed systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas through design documentation.
• Proficient in high-level design (HLD) skills.
• Expertise in relational databases; knowledge of non-relational databases is a significant plus.
• Extensive experience in designing, developing, and scaling RESTful APIs, focusing on authentication, authorization, caching, and performance.
• Strong understanding of security protocols, including OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML, SSO, SCIM for secure data exchange and access management.
• Familiarity with xAPI for tracking learning data and integrating Learning Record Store (LRS) statements is advantageous.
• A strong sense of ownership for systems being built and a passion for solving complex business problems using technology.

• Proven experience in leading individual projects or subprojects.
• Familiarity with iterative and agile development methodologies.
• Experience collaborating within a global delivery team.
• Ability to engage directly and effectively with business users across all levels.
