Senior Front End Developer (React)

Job Description

Zipdev is looking for a talented Front End Developer experienced with React for a full-time remote job. We’re looking for a talented Senior Front End Developer with strong expertise in React to join our team. This role involves working closely with a US-based client specializing in aircraft repairs and software. You will play a key role in developing and enhancing the user interface of a critical platform, ensuring seamless and intuitive experiences for users in the aviation industry. Responsibilities

• Develop and Maintain User Interfaces: Build and maintain responsive, dynamic, and high-performance user interfaces using React.js, ensuring a seamless and intuitive experience across various devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with Design and Backend Teams: Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and visual designs into functional React components, and collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and data services.
• Optimize Application Performance: Implement best practices for optimizing the performance of React applications, ensuring fast loading times and smooth user interactions, including lazy loading, code splitting, and efficient state management.
• Write Clean, Scalable Code: Produce clean, maintainable, and reusable code following coding standards and best practices, ensuring scalability and ease of future development.
• Test and Debug: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of React applications to ensure functionality and reliability, including using unit tests, integration tests, and tools like Jest and React Testing Library.
• Stay Updated with React Ecosystem: Continuously stay updated with the latest developments and trends in the React ecosystem, incorporating new features and best practices into the development process to improve application performance and maintainability.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on industry experience as a Front End Developer.
• Strong command of JavaScript and React.
• Experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Proficiency using Django/Python.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

• Proven work experience as a Front-end developer.
• Hands-on experience with markup languages.
• Experience with JavaScript, CSS and jQuery.
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment).
• Understanding of layout aesthetics.
• An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent analytical and multitasking skills.
