Job Description

Position: Web Designer/Developer
Location: Fully-Remote
Employment Type: Full-Time, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm EST (Night Shift)

Remote VA PH is looking for a highly skilled Web Designer/Developer with expertise in UX/UI, WordPress, Wix, Figma, Shopify, JavaScript, HTML, and Technical SEO. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing visually appealing and high-performing websites. You should have a strong understanding of user experience, responsive design, and website performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop responsive websites using WordPress, Wix, Shopify, and custom coding.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs using Figma.
• Implement interactive elements using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Optimize website layouts, user flows, and overall usability.
• Ensure mobile-friendly and responsive designs across all devices.
• Conduct A/B testing and user research to improve conversions.
• Implement best practices for on-page and technical SEO (site speed, schema markup, meta tags, structured data, etc.).
• Ensure SEO-friendly coding and proper indexing by search engines.
• Develop and customize Shopify themes and templates.

• Monitor website performance and fix bugs or technical issues.
• Update content, plugins, and security patches regularly.

Requirements

• Proficiency in WordPress, Wix, Shopify, and Figma.
• Strong coding skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Shopify.
• Experience with Technical SEO and website optimization techniques.
• Understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve web development issues quickly.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
